BPE delivered a suite of ChemPLUS chemical feed skids, including systems for multiple chemical applications and a polymer blend/feed unit.

System features:

Cationic Polymer Feed System:

  • ChemPLUS Simplex Skid:
    • Blue White A2 Series peristaltic pump with 4.44 GPH at 110 PSI capacity.
    • Polyethylene welded base with integrated spill containment.
    • Equipped with calibration column, pulsation dampener, backpressure valve, and prewired junction box.

 

Sulfuric Acid Feed System:

  • ChemPLUS Simplex Skid:
    • Blue White A2 Series pump with 14.3 GPH at 50 PSI capacity.
    • 1,000mL borosilicate glass calibration column and PVDF/Viton piping.

 

Liquid Alum Feed System:

  • ChemPLUS Simplex Skid:
    • Blue White A2 Series pump with 4.44 GPH at 110 PSI capacity.
    • CPVC piping and elastomers with integrated calibration and control features.

Sodium Hydroxide Feed System:

  • ChemPLUS Simplex Skid:
    • Blue White A2 Series pump with similar capacity and safety features.
    • 1,000mL PVC calibration column and EPDM elastomers

 

Anionic Polyblend Unit:

  • Model 6PSEVO-400:
    • Includes an EXCELL polymer activation apparatus with a patented hydrodynamic system.
    • Robust, watertight peristaltic pump with flow control and calibration features.
    • Stainless steel blending-aging tank and integrated control panel.

 

Startup and Training Services:

  • Two days of onsite support for calibration, startup, and operator training.

Implementation

The equipment was delivered preassembled, preplumbed, and prewired to minimize installation time. The client handled:

  • Offloading, rigging, and positioning the equipment indoors.
  • Plumbing influent and effluent connections and providing chemical supply.
