The facility needed a system that could:
- Automate pH adjustment for high-strength effluent streams

- Cylindrical 60″H × 77″Ø tank made of ½” natural polypropylene with ¾” top and bottom walls
- In-tank diffuser for influent stream and eductor for recirculation
- 3-point level sensor for high/low alarm and control
- Finish Thompson DB5 recirculation pump
- Manual 3-way valve for tie-in to neutralization system
- NEMA 4X enclosure with system power, status lights, and emergency stop
Fully integrated pH neutralization and chemical storage system featuring a 400-gallon polypropylene pH system and a 1200-gallon cylindrical polypropylene holding tank. Equipped with chemical metering reagent pumps (Pulsatron series) and onboard reagent tanks, the system includes pH probes, a chart recorder, level sensors, and emergency shutoffs for precise monitoring and safety. A ¼ HP Finish Thompson DB5 recirculation pump ensures efficient mixing and flow, while control is managed through a NEMA 4X UL-rated enclosure with a Signet controller, status lights, and an emergency stop.
