A pump lift station is a device used to move solution from a lower to a higher elevation, or from a location where gravity flow is not possible or would be impractical.
Custom Pump Lift Stations are designed by Burt Process application engineers who work with clients to develop custom solutions tailored to unique system requirements.
Lift Stations are utilized in many applications and are integral to most building infrastructures including:
Custom lift stations vary by application. Depending on the application, there are numerous options. Some options include:
Pump Flow: From less than 1 GPM to greater than 1,000 GPM
Pump Technologies: Vertical or horizontal centrifugal, positive displacement, gear, magnetic-drive, grinder, metering, self-priming, and air operated diaphragm
Pump Configurations: Simplex, Duplex, and Triplex
Tank Volume and Material: Capacities from 5 to 15,000 gallons; Materials of construction including polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, PVDF (Kynar), fiberglass, and stainless steel.
Instrumentation & Control: Level transmitters, redundant high and high-high level switches, temperature and analytical measurements, leak detection, agitation, equalization options, specialty controls.
