Standard Pump Lift Stations

Pump Lift Stations are engineered for applications where gravity drainage is not viable and a pumping solution is required. Simplex and Duplex Lift Stations are expertly engineered to deliver reliable performance across a broad range of pumping applications.

Pump Lift Stations for Industrial Pumping Applications

Burt Process Equipment offers two pre-engineered standard configurations: simplex and duplex units. Both are built to withstand aggressive chemical environments, featuring automatic operation and corrosion-resistant construction. Whether you require a single-pump solution (Simplex) for straightforward applications or a dual-pump redundant system (Duplex) for high-flow / low-downtime environments, the Standard Pump Lift Stations by Burt Process provide a robust, chemically compatible solution. Engineered with automatic controls and configurable capacities, these units deliver reliable pumping performance in demanding industrial settings.

Simplex Configuration

  • Intended for installations where pump redundancy is not required
  • Utilizes a single automatic pump with level controls to turn on/off as liquid reaches preset high/low points
  • Available in tank sizes ranging from 7- to 50-gallons (for HDPE/PP versions) in standard series
  • Control panels are not required for simplex lift stations with pumps that are 1/3 hp or less

Duplex Configuration

  • Designed for applications where pump redundancy is required—for higher inlet flows, continuous operation, or minimized downtime
  • Equipped with NEMA 4X control panel
  • Lead-lag pump control allows for pump wear to be evenly distributed, reducing the frequency of regular maintenance
  • In the event of a surge, if the tank level reaches a certain threshold, both pumps will operate simultaneously
  • Optional high-level alarm if liquid rises above the  second pump turn-on setting
  • Tank materials, chemical ratings, and construction are the same as the Simplex unit, ensuring robust performance in aggressive environments
