The Cistern is 15,000 gal. concert vault. Burt Process Equipment supplied pumps in the cistern pressurize the water through the treatment system to a clean water tank. The clean water tank is recirculated to maintain purity. A separate booster pump distributes the water to the points of use.

Details: The Rainwater Reclamation Systems accept rainwater and provide a treated water supply for points of use in and around the facility. Rainwater is supplied from the building’s recycled water collection network and routed to the interior Rainwater Collection tank. The interior rainwater tank has a prefilter to remove heavy sediment from the roof collection system. The water is then pressurized through the treatment system to points of use. The rainwater is used for flushing fixtures.

The water is filtered and sanitized at 500gpm and the clean water storage tank is recirculated over 2 times an hour per local codes. The system utilizes a full maintenance-free set-up with automatic UV cleaning wipers and complete low-flow backwash filters. The filters back-wash with the only 200gal. to be water conservative. The water is dyed blue per local code. The Rainwater Recovery System is automated and is controlled by a Main PLC Control panel. Skid piping is copper.
